KENTUCKY PIE RECIPE ~Bourbon or vanilla

KENTUCKY PIE

1 stick softened butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. flour
pinch of salt
2 T. Kentucky Bourbon
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
1 9-inch pie shell, partially baked

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs, flour, salt, and
Kentucky Bourbon (or vanilla).
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Stir well.
Pour into partially baked pie shell and bake for 30
minutes, until center is set.

*can substitute 1 t. vanilla for Bourbon
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
